Experienced Support TeamBehind the scenes, Home Beyond Home is powered by a multidisciplinary team of qualified professionals and dedicated care workers. Our staff includes registered mental health nurses, licensed social workers, counsellors trained in trauma-informed care, employment specialists, and youth mentors. Together, they deliver tailored support that meets the unique needs of each individual, ensuring continuity of care from hospital discharge to independent living.
We also work closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, cultural mentors, and community organisations to ensure our services are culturally safe and inclusive. "Our nurses don’t just treat the illness—We become part of a community’s healing journey. In some of the most remote areas, we’re not just nurses. We’re educators, advocates, and sometimes the only mental health support people have." Our team’s shared values—compassion, respect, empowerment, and collaboration—drive everything we do.
