Home Beyond home
- As a dedicated not-for-profit entity focused on addressing homelessness and mental health challenges, we aim to provide supported accommodation for the homeless by converting shipping containers into micro homes, while delivering integrated support services for discharged and long-stay mental health patients. Over three years, we will offer comprehensive mental health support to at least 300 individuals, engage local communities to reduce stigma, and promote inclusion. Through skill-building and employment programs, we target a 70% employment rate among participants. Working collaboratively with professionals, we will create tailored support plans that foster quality of life, reduce youth disengagement and anti-social behavior, and promote identity, belonging, and purpose. Culturally safe, mentored activities will strengthen pathways to education, training, and employment.
voice of change
At Home Beyond Home, Voice of Change is our platform for empowering those with lived experience of homelessness, trauma, and systemic neglect to become powerful advocates for reform. We work with young people, survivors of domestic violence, and individuals recovering from mental health challenges—helping them find their voice, share their stories, and inspire lasting change. Through storytelling, leadership training, and creative expression, Voice of Change turns pain into purpose and lived experience into leadership. It's not just about speaking out—it’s about building dignity, driving policy change, and shaping a future where every person feels seen, supported, and heard.

Sustainable Housing
At Home Beyond Home, we’re redefining what safe and sustainable housing looks like for people experiencing homelessness, mental illness, or domestic violence. Our solution is innovative yet practical: container-based micro-homes—eco-friendly, affordable, and designed for healing.
Each modular home is built with sustainability in mind, using repurposed shipping containers and energy-efficient designs. These units are compact, durable, and cost-effective, offering residents not just shelter, but privacy, security, and dignity.
But our homes are only part of the story. We create entire community hubs, where residents receive wraparound care—from mental health support and trauma-informed counselling to vocational training and life skills programs.
We believe that sustainable housing must be holistic. That means building not just walls, but pathways to recovery, resilience, and self-sufficiency. With long-term vision and community partnerships, we are working to ensure that every person has a place to call home—and the tools to thrive beyond it.

skill-building & employment programs
We believe that education and skills are key to breaking the cycle of homelessness, trauma, and social disadvantage. Many of the young people, mental health patients, survivors of domestic violence—have been denied access to stable education or career pathways. That’s why we provide free vocational training, digital literacy programs, and life skills workshops tailored to real-world needs. From basic financial literacy and cooking to job readiness, resume writing, and on-the-job training, we help individuals build confidence, independence, and a sense of purpose. By working with local businesses and training providers, we create direct pathways to employment and further education. Community education doesn’t just build skills—it restores dignity, opens doors, and empowers people to reclaim their futures.
