Be Proactive and Solution-Focused

Identify gaps in support or areas where processes can be improved. Offer constructive ideas or feedback that can enhance service delivery. Be flexible and willing to go beyond your job description when needed.

Maintain Profession Developmental

Stay updated with training in: Trauma-informed care, Mental health first aid, Cultural competency, Disability support standards, Pursue opportunities to grow your skills and knowledge, especially in community-based or person-centered care.

Upholds Ethics and Boundaries

Maintain strict confidentiality and respect privacy at all times. Set and uphold professional boundaries, especially when working closely with vulnerable individuals. Follow all safeguarding, reporting, and risk management.

Advocate and Represent the Organization

Share the work of Home Beyond Home in your community—raise awareness about its mission. Support fundraising or outreach initiatives. Be a positive ambassador for the organization, whether you're in the field or at a public event.
